Each year, thousands of active and retired military members and their families visit The Peaks. They come seeking fresh air, open space, and time together in a place where Mountain, Lake, and Land create room to breathe. We are proud that this special community chooses to spend meaningful moments here.
As a sponsor of the Winter Sports Clinic for injured active and retired military members, Calabogie Peaks plays a small part in something far greater. Over the course of a week, participants learn to ski or snowboard — often for the very first time. What begins as tentative turns on snow often transforms into something much deeper.
For many, the experience becomes a catalyst — a return to movement, to confidence, and to camaraderie. On the slopes, rank fades and encouragement rises. Shared challenges create new bonds. Each run down the hill is more than a lesson in balance; it is a reminder of strength, resilience, and possibility.
Ontario’s Only Daily Military Ski Discount
We are also proud to be the only ski resort in Ontario that offers 15% discount to active and retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces every day of the week on mountain day passes.* It is a small but meaningful way to say thank you — not once a year, but every single day.
In addition, Calabogie Peaks hosts a dedicated Military Day with Canada Company and its sponsors. This is a special day when Canada Company and Calabogie Peaks welcome active and retired military members to ski free of charge, while their family members receive 50% off day lift tickets and rentals. It is a day filled with gratitude, community, and shared celebration on the snow.
There is something powerful about conquering a mountain — especially after life has presented its own steep terrain. The thrill of gliding down a snowy trail, the laughter between lessons, the quiet pride at day’s end — these moments matter.
