As always we had a great time and are looking forward to our stay September 2nd to 9th. Because I wrote a review on Tripadvisor during our last stay at the resort (June 24th to July 8th – this resort has everything- timesharefan) tripadvisor will not allow me to write another review about the same resort for 3 months- so I will write a very nice one as soon as tripadvisor will allow it!
We had a great unit 306A and everyone working at the resort is so helpful and nice, so thank you to Meagan and Kirk and everyone who always does so much to make sure that we have a great vacation.

The Calabogie Twin Peaks Resort is heavenly. The rooms are nice and we had a balcony overlooking the pond and beautiful mountains. This is truly a nature lovers paradise with all the hiking trails, expansive property with beach on Calabogie Lake. Not to mention the golf course. The indoor salt water pool was therapeutic. The meals in the canthooks restaurant…

We came to Calabogie Peaks to attend the Ribs and Bluesfest. What a great time we had! The surroundings are beautiful, you can play golf, rent some paddle boats, have nice long walks in nature, go for a swim in the lake or hotel pool and those are just a few of the activities they have to offer. We did not stay at the hotel as we were in a camper trailer but we did have brunch at the hotel. We ate on the patio and the view was amazing. The service was friendly and the brunch was not too bad. I would recommend this venue for a family get away and for just couples or friends as well. Thank you for reading my post!

We are wrapping up three excellent days at Calabogie Peaks. It was our first visit but we will be back. The skiing was amazing. We skated at night on the pond. Our first hike on snow shoes was great with our guide Jim taking us through beautiful trails with gorgeous views. The meals and accommodations were perfect. Planned an overnight stay with the golf package. Pleasantly suprised. Golfed the Ironwoods course the first day and originally thought Humm doesn’t look like much but turned out to be quite challenging and pretty 9 hole course. Had a picnic by the lake and then swam the afternoon away on the beach. The hotel room was really nice not sure if it was because it was late in the season but all the windows in the hotel need cleaning something fierce. When you are looking at beautiful views it’s kind of nice to be able to see them through the windows. Ate dinner at the restaurant, service was good everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, but I wouldn’t recommend the Jambalaya as it is really just chicken there was no shrimp and only two little pieces of sausage but the flavour was good. Breakfast was also pretty good. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as well. All in all a very pleasant stay for the price

Great fall weekend away!
Highly recommend this resort for a group getaway with friends or family. Experienced the beautiful fall colours while hiking and golfing and enjoyed wonderful meals in the dining area (ask about the daily selection of homemade desserts). The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the staff are friendly and attentive. Well worth the drive from the Toronto area!

After a 10 hour motorcycle ride we stopped in to see if a room was available but unfortunately you were booked due to wedding. Alyson and Erica recommended other hotels that we could try. After some discussion they said that they could call us if someone cancelled. We went up the road to check out other hotels and by the time we got to the next hotel we got a call back saying they could fit us in. So instead of driving up to Renfrew we turned around had an awesome dinner and are now staying here. They pulled off some kind of magic and I’m not sure what it was, the main thing is they did what few people do, they went out of their way ! Thanks to them we had an awesome dinner and I’d be very inclined to come back and spend more time here. Please give them a pat on the back for outstanding customer service. They did more than just their job !! Their sense of humour and customer service are to be commended. I have travelled extensively for business and see a good thing when it happens.

I just had my wedding at the resort. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding by the water. Everything went very smoothly, thanks to wonderful staff. My Meal was fantastic, And we danced the night away. Even had a wonderful fire outside by the lake for my guest to enjoy. There were 3 staff that worked very hard to make my day the experince it was. Special thanks to Shannon, Nancy, Dana. What a great location for a wedding. Everyone loved our “weekend getaway” style wedding, and we were able to have the whole resort booked to ourselves. The service was very attentive, and our coordinator was excellent. She really made the process so easy. The guests raved about how good the food was, especially since it was a buffet. Great value for your money. We honestly do not have enough good things to say about the resort. They bent over backwards to make this a great and memorable event for us, and our guests.

What a lovely ski days we had this year! All 3 days were wonderful for us – weather-wise, of course, but also because it was a true pleasure to work with both of you. I truly appreciate the efforts and lengths that you go to in order to ensure safety on the hill, especially staying one step ahead of students who don’t want to cooperate and risk others’ safety (In fact, from the lift we saw two very out-of-control teens on snowboards crash into each other as well as rocks & trees on the run under the lift). I also appreciate that you understand how seriously we take safety and supervision with our school routines and the number of supervisors that we bring on each trip. We really saw an improvement in all of our students’ abilities & confidence with three solid days on the hill.

“Calabogie Peaks is an outstanding ski resort located in the beautiful rural town of Calabogie (or Bogie as the locals prefer). The resort features quaint but yet spacious chalets, and a state of the art lodge for skiers. On the hill they have a four-person chairlift. This makes less traffic at the bottom of the hill, and less time waiting in line. The runs themselves range from beginner to intermediate skill level with at least two good black diamond level runs. I would say that Calabogie Peaks is a fantastic place to bring the family skiing or someone from out of town interested in trying one of Canada’s best winter sports at an amazing resort.”
