Line Cook

Job Description

To provide exceptional customer service in a high paced quality atmosphere.  To demonstrate courteous and professional mannerisms towards customers and team members at all times.  The line cook works in any of the resorts 3 kitchens as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook full course meals, individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies
  • Estimate food requirements and costs
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain cleanliness
  • Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer etc.)
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Wash dishes
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Chef

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in a kitchen
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Food safe certification is an asset

Reporting:

  • The Line Cook reports to the Resort Chef
